Espresso Martinis are everywhere, but we like our martinis to be martinis. The Coffee Spirit really likes a little bit of sugar though, so we replace dry vermouth with rich Cocchi americano, and make it pop with a splash of cane syrup.

Gear

  • Measuring glass
  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 barspoon cane syrup
  • 1½ cl Cocchi Amercicano
  • 5 cl Coffee Spirit
  • Orange zest for garnish
  1. Chill your glassware
  2. Fill your measuring glass with ice
  3. Add 1 barspoon cane syrup
  4. Add 1½ cl Cocchi Amercicano
  5. Add 5 cl Coffee Spirit
  6. Stir to mix
  7. Strain into chilled stemmed glassware
  8. Garnish with orange zest
