Blackbirds sing a little less when the snow falls, but they stay here. They most likely keep warm on this toddy. Rowanberry snaps, black currants, acidity from wine and a touch of pine tar smoke.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cl Rowan berry snaps
  • 1½ cl Orange Gin
  • 1 cl RAW Whisky
  • ½ cl Terva pine tar liqueur
  • 3 cl Red wine/Black currant reduction*
  1. Start with 1½ cl of Rowan berry snaps
  2. Add 1½ cl of Orange Gin
  3. Add 1 cl of RAW Whisky
  4. Add ½ cl of Terva pine tar liqueur
  5. Add 3 cl of Red wine/Black currant reduction
  6. Stir
  7. Top up with hot water
  8. Garnish with anise star

*Bring a bottle of wine and 250 g blackcurrants to a simmer, and puré with immersion blender. Add 250 g macaw pepper and allow to reduce to half. Run through a fine mesh and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
