Christmas is coming and so is the Christmas snaps from Copenhagen Distillery. This year we are introducing the Cask Edition 2017.
First, we take a bunch of hand cut Orange peels, prunes, cardamom and pepper and distill all that into our clear Christmas Snaps 2017. Then, we pour the clear snaps into small, 50L oak casks that previously contained tawny port wine. Here, the snaps rests for 3 months, absorbing the delicate notes of the wood and port wine. Finally, it is poured into bottles, ready to serve.
Our Christmas snaps goes perfectly with most cheeses, or neat as an after dinner Christmas drink in front of the tree.
