Pack your suitcase as Copenhagen Distillery goes full tiki. Orgeat, grilled prineapple and great balls of fire. Spiced rum-liqueur and grilled pineapple match our unique Coffee Spirit in this lovely Tiki-style cocktail. Finished with a fizzy passion fruit mead and a touch of burnt absinth, this might just be the best thing to come out of Brazil since the samba. Mai tai roa ae!

Ingredients

  • 4 cl Coffee Spirit infused with grilled pineapple
  • 2 cl Velvet Falernum
  • 1,5 cl lime juice
  • 1,5 cl orgeat
  • Float with passion fruit session mead
  • Mint
  • Lime
  • Absinth Fireball
  1. Pour ingredients into shaker
  2. Fill shaker and highball with ice
  3. Shake until dewy and pour over
  4. Top with Passion Fruit Mead
  5. Stir lightly to mix
  6. Garnish with mint sprig
  7. Aromatise with an Absinth fireball

Pineapple-infused Coffee Spirit

Spiced rum-liqueur and grilled pineapple match our unique Coffee Spirit in this lovely Tiki-style cocktail. A pineapple cut in slices, and tossed on the grill until soft and almost charcoaled on the outside. Put it in a container and covered with Coffee Spirit and left for 3-4 days as the spirit turns golden brown like fine rum, before strained through cloth for a nicer finish.
